Upcoming Events

Medway Walk – Sunday, September 28

Come for a walk-through and litter clean-up of our adopted area of the Medway Valley Environmentally Significant Area (ESA). Families are welcome to join as the walk will be at a leisurely pace.  A biologist who lives in our neighbourhood will help us to understand and appreciate our beautiful valley.

When:  Sunday Sept 28th, 2014. 1:30 pm ( for approx. 1-2 hours)
Where:   Meet at the Ramsay Road entrance to the Valley located between the Precious Blood Monastery and Brescia College

A reminder of the City-led meeting this coming Wednesday, September 3, at 7 PM at City Hall, 2nd floor. Parking on the street is free after 6 pm.

Sherwood Forest School Site – Community Planning Meeting

Please be sure to come out to the second community planning exercise for the Sherwood Forest School site. The session will be held Wednesday, May 7 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at Brescia University College, in the new Clare Hall, Mercato Room. If you can’t make the meeting, comments can be sent to the City of London attention Brian Turcotte at bturcott@london.ca

Medway Valley ESA

Join us on our introductory walk-through of the Medway ESA {Environmentally Significant Area} that we have adopted!

A city of London Ecologist, Ms. Linda McDougall, will accompany us to point out areas of interest and answer your questions. We are planning a ‘Buckthorn Busting’ event for June too. Come along and learn how to be good stewards of our beautiful valley.
