Medway Valley Heritage Forest Environmentally Significant Area
City staff are now proposing two bridges in the Valley including one in our area (see the black circles on the map below). The bridges may be similar to those across the Creek north of Fanshawe Park Road as each crossing is roughly 3 times wider than across Rollingwood Creek below Metamora.

Go through closets, cupboards and drawers with the thought “if we were moving what would we NOT take with us?” and sell off yesterday’s treasures.
Pricing your items gives folks a start point to haggle, however be warned that if your prices are too high people will be turned off. Experience is not to bother pricing all items, just some of the bigger ones for which you want a reasonable price.

There continues to be reports of someone wandering the area checking if cars parked in driveways are locked or not. If you are a victim of this or any other crime that does not require an immediate police response, either contact the police non-emergency number at 519-661-5670 or submit an on line report at

By reporting the crime, the information is entered into the police database and if there are regular reports of problems, patrol beats are shifted and increased.
