As you know, the Sherwood Forest Public School is closing June 30, 2013. After that date, the school board, under Regulation 444/ 98 will offer the site to a defined list of public bodies including the city and other school boards. If none make an offer, it will be offered on the open market. Unlike most other school sites in the city, this one is expected to attract the interest of the development community.

We want to get feedback from the neighbourhood to get a sense of the level of support for the various options for the Sherwood Forest school site.

The Annual General Meeting for the Orchard Park Sherwood Forest Ratepayers will be held on Monday, May 14, 2012 at 7:00 pm at St. Thomas More School.
The major topic will deal with options for the Sherwood Forest School site. There will also be updates on housing matters from the city and about the renovations at Orchard Park Public School.

Here are the results from the 3 student teams from the Fanshawe Cllege Urban Design Charrette who were focussed on the Sherwood Forest school site.
These will be presented to the community at large next Wednesday, March 21 at 7:00 pm, at the Church of the Transfiguration, 33 Bromleigh.
