Seeking Neighbourhood Tree Captains

Be the inspiration for the neighbourhood – Build a network of like-minded people to assure the continued survival of the trees in the neighbourhood.

Residential neighbourhoods make up 40% of the “plantable” space in London. The “Neighbourhood Tree Captain” program hopes to fill in these gaps through identifying people willing to champion tree planting in Orchard Park/Sherwood Forest. Training and support will be provided. Time commitment: 1 to 2 hours a week spring and fall

Next Training Date:
– Tuesday, February 4, 6:30 to 9 pm
– 2nd Floor City Hall, Corner of Dufferin and Wellington
