The area is approximately bounded on the west by Wonderland Road, Sarnia Road on the South, Gainsborough Road to the North, the University of Western Ontario and the Medway Valley.

BBQ and AGM – Thursday, May 25

Hope to see you this coming Thursday, May 25th at Orchard Park Public School for our 3rd annual BBQ as well as our community Annual General Meeting. The BBQ starts at 6 pm, the meeting at 7:30 pm. Come for both if you can.

Open House – Medway Valley Heritage Forest ESA Conservation Master Plan Phase 2

WHAT: Community Open House for the Conservation Master Plan (CMP) Phase 2 for the Medway Valley Heritage Forest, Environmentally Significant Area (MVHF ESA) for the ESA lands south of Fanshawe Park Road West. CMPs are guideline documents, providing direction in the management of ESAs.

WHY: You should attend the open house to have your say into the long term management and trail planning for the Medway VHF ESA (south).

WHEN: Thursday June 1, 2017 – drop in from 5:30 – 7:30pm

WHERE: Museum of Ontario Archaeology, 1600 Attawandaron Rd, N6G 3M6

Garlic Mustard pull in the Medway Valley

This Sunday, April 30, at 11 am, we will be meeting at the Longbow entrance to the Medway Valley to pull out an invasive non-native plant called garlic mustard.

If you have gloves please bring them. A trowel can also be helpful, although the plant is usually easy to pull out. If the weather looks bad, a notice will be posted early Sunday AM.
